Bedrock Aquifer Map Coverages

 There are 31 individual shape files (coverages) that comprise these maps.
They have been grouped into six sets by geologic system with supporting documents for downloading.

The images/systems below are arranged from youngest to oldest proceding from left to right and top to bottom. To begin downloading, select a bedrock system, and click on the desired file type for the coverage(s).

Permian

NOTES:

Shape files can be viewed in ArcExplorer without conversion.

  A free Shape file viewer (ArcExplorer) is available for several platforms from the ESRI web site. Get ArcExplorer viewer now.

 

(.e00) files must be converted before use in ArcExplorer.

   Export (.e00) files can be converted into native ArcInfo coverages and opened in the free viewer ArcExplorer. The conversion software and viewer (see above note) are available for several platforms from the ESRI web site.   Get Conversion software.

About Supporting Documents

   Appropriate supporting documents are included within all zipped data files regardless of download option chosen. Supporting text files will be in Microsoft Word 97 for the PC file format.
