The Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) released the Final Report of the Ohio Great Lakes Compact Advisory Board. The Advisory Board was established within House Bill 416 (127th General Assembly) to develop recommendations for implementing the Great Lakes – St. Lawrence River Basin Water Resources Compact within Ohio. The Report was submitted to the Governor and the General Assembly on December 15, and as a result, the Advisory Board has officially completed their work and disbanded. The Ohio Advisory Board, authorized in Section 3 of Ohio’s Great Lakes Water Resources Compact statute, has been convened to develop recommendations to the Governor and the General Assembly concerning the implementation of commitments made in the Compact. The Advisory Board convened in March 2009 and is scheduled to complete it's report of recommendations by June 2010.
