Oak Creek Lowhead Dam

During high volume flows in Oak Creek on January 18th 2012 the Oak Creek lowhead dam was partially washed out leaving the left and right bank abutments in place and large debris in the stream channel. The waterway is still hazardous to boaters due to the large debris and hazardous currents.
