2012 Watershed Education Mini-Grant Program
The ODNR Division of Soil and Water Resources in cooperation with the Ohio Soil and Water Conservation Committee are pleased to announce the availability of mini-grants to fund SWCD watershed education projects. The Ohio Soil and Water Conservation Commission approved $10,000 in State NPS funds for eligible education projects.
Mini-grant limits are $500 per applicant. The purpose of the program is to provide small grants to county Soil and Water Conservation Districts (SWCDs) for projects focusing on watershed education for schools and the general public. This program was initiated to strengthen the outreach efforts of SWCDs and to develop model education projects that can be replicated in other counties.
