A small earthquake occurred about 13 miles southeast of Marietta just before 9:22 a.m. EDT. Felt reports were received form citizens north of Reno. This is the fourth earthquake in the Marietta area since October 24, 2010. Two events occured on August 31, 2011 in the area. Although these events were in the same general area, their computed instrumental epicenters are not at the same locations. No damages were reported from any of these small earthquakes.
