A small earthquake occurred beneath Wickliffe on February 4, 2010 at 12:44 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. The Ohio Seismic Network calculated the magnitude at 2.1 mbLg, which is near the lower threshold of being felt. Two residents of Wickliffe reported a booming sound and shaking of the house and indicated that several neighbors experienced similar phenomena. These residents were within the error ellipse of the computed epicenter. No damages were reported.
