OBJECTIVES:

• Analyze and enhance revenue streams
• Pursue grants, corporate sponsorships and other funding opportunities
• Develop and implement strategies to attract new customers, retain existing customers and increase overnight stays
• Align financial resources with the division’s goals and priorities
• Expand in-house industries where feasible to reduce expenses
• Improve operational efficiency of services and facilities
• Consolidate facilities and share staff and equipment to reduce operating costs
• Evaluate and update pricing structures and value of discounts
• Educate legislators and the public about funding issues and seek legislative initiatives for park improvements
• Establish funds for equipment replacement and seek partnerships for equipment and vehicle needs
• Evaluate lodges and other concession facilities for potential new uses, programs, operational models, and enhancements for efficiency and sustainability
