Materials:
Bottle of maple syrup
Candy thermometer
Candy mold tray
Saucepan
Instructions:
- With a supervising adult, cook maple syrup in a saucepan over medium heat until it reaches 240 degrees on the candy thermometer.
- Remove from heat and allow to cool to 200 degrees.
- Stir consistently until syrup becomes sugary, lighter in color, thick, and creamy. (this will take about 5 minutes)
- Pour into candy molds.
- Once candy is finally cool, its okay to remove from molds and enjoy!
