Ohio State Parks will direct its considerable human and financial resources toward achieving five broad, overarching goals over the next five years. These goals are:

Customer Service - To provide excellent programs and services that respond to existing and new customer needs and expectations.

Resource Management - to preserve, protect, manage, and enhance Ohio State Parks' historical, cultural, and natural resources.

Professional Development - To attract, train, and retain professional, knowledgeable, and service-oriented staff and volunteers.

Infrastructure - To develop and implement a comprehensive plan to design, construct, and maintain Ohio State parks' facilities, infrastructure, and road.

Stable Funding - To develop a stable funding base to provide for continued use, improvement, and protection of Ohio State Parks.
