The Ohio Wildlife Council approved 2013-2014 hunting and trapping regulations, including season dates and bag limits, at its April 17 meeting. The regulations approved by the Ohio Wildlife Council will now be filed with the Joint Committee on Agency Rule Review (JCARR). JCARR must approve the rule-making process before the regulations can take effect.

Columbus, OH- Peregrine falcon enthusiasts worldwide will decide the name of the falcon chick in downtown Columbus, between Wednesday, May 8th and Monday, May 13th, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR), Division of Wildlife.
Online voting will take place on the Division of Wildlife’s Web page at www.wildohio.com, click on Name the Falcon Chick.  The top name will be assigned to the lone falcon nestling living on a 41st floor ledge of the Rhodes State Office Tower.
