Geologists, educators, land-use planners and others interested in the state's earth science can now obtain a digital version of the Bedrock Geologic Map of Ohio, which was released by ODNR in paper form last year. This is the first time the map has been available to the public on CD-ROM.

Ohio’s mineral industries produced more than $2.6 billion for the state’s economy in 2006, according to a report issued by the ODNR Division of Geological Survey. The number represents a slight (.1 percent) decrease from 2005.
