A small earthquake occurred in Crawford County, Pennsylvania at the north end of Conneaut Lake and about 2 km south of Harmonsburg. No felt reports were received; however, the event was near the lower threshold of felt earthquakes and occurred at 11:39 p.m. EST. This small earthquake is in the general region of the 1998 5.2-magnitude Pymatuning earthquake that occurred on September 25, 1998 and caused minor damage in the epicentral area.
