Bald Eagle Viewing Sites: Wildlife District 4

 

Salt Fork Lake – Guernsey County	The best spot for viewing is around Salt Fork Lake. The chances of seeing eagles as you drive through the park are very good, particularly from the roads adjacent to the lake or areas such as the old marina, the ranger station or the campground boat ramp. The nest is actually along the lake and it can only be observed from a boat.
Muskingum River – Morgan and Muskingum Counties	In late winter and early spring eagles are frequently seen flying along the Muskingum River, from Stockport to Philo.
