Map of Ohio State Forests and District Office Contacts

Most State Forests do not have office support staff and due to field responsibilities management personnel may be difficult to reach at times. Additional information about a particular State Forest may also be obtained by contacting the appropriate district administrative office.

State Forests have active forest management and wildlife habitat management programs. Guided tours of these areas and the Zaleski State Forest sawmill, may be arranged.

All bridle trails are open to hiking.

Mountain bikes are permitted on APV trails. Mountain bikes are also permitted on bridle trails at Scioto Trail State Forest and designated trails at Mohican.

Most State Forests are open for hunting in season.
