NEW ARCHERY RANGE OPEN TO PUBLIC AT HEBRON STATE FISH HATCHERY
COLUMBUS, OH – A 17-target archery range will open to the public on September 2, 2008 at the Hebron State Fish Hatchery, 10517 Canal Road SE, in Hebron, according to the Ohio Department of Natural Resources (ODNR) Division of Wildlife.
This Division of Wildlife managed range features 20 and 40-yard lanes, three of which are broadhead targets, plus six lanes designed for the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP), which have targets at 10 and 15 meters. There is also a 12-foot shooting tower for archers to use in preparing for the upcoming deer hunting season.
The range will be open from dawn to dusk, seven days a week and is free of charge. No permit is required. Archers should park at the main hatchery parking lot and walk a short distance to the range. The range, with the exception of the shooting tower, is handicap accessible.
