Announcing the 2010 Ohio Wildlife Legacy Stamp
Photo Contest
Meet last year's winner.
The 2nd Annual Ohio Wildlife Legacy Stamp photo contest challenges you to come up with the winning photo of either a dragonfly or damselfly that is native to the State of Ohio. You have nearly one year to work on snapping that winning photo since submissions will not be accepted until next August....
The winning photograph will appear on the 2011 Ohio Wildlife Legacy Stamp to be issued March 1, 2011.
Contest Details
- Open to *Ohio residents, ages 18 years and older.
- First place winner will receive a cash award.
- Photographers 17 and younger may enter photos for Web and magazine recongition.
- Only photos submitted by mail are eligible.
- Photo submissions will be accepted mail between August 1 and August 22, 2010.
- Each photo must be accompanied by a completed entry form and $12 submission fee.
(Photographers 17 and under are exempt from the entry fee.)
Photographers are reminded to be respectful of wildlife and its habitat and not to infringe on the rights of any other photographer or person.
*Employees of the ODNR and their immediate family members are not eligible to participate.

How to Enter
Complete an entry form that includes your name, address, telephone number, email address and photo caption, and submit with your photo entry in accordance with the instructions below.
- All dragonfly/damselfly entries must be color prints. Entries can be 8x10 or 8x12 in size, and must be mounted on 11x14 white foam core. No electronic submissions will be accepted.
- Entries can be presented in either horizontal or vertical format.
- Mail photos to: Tim Daniel, ODNR Division of Wildlife, 2045 Morse Road, G-1, Columbus, OH 43229.
- Photos must be submitted by mail between August 1 and August 22, 2010.
- Each entry must include a completed entry form and a non-refundable submission processing fee of $12 made payable to the Wildlife Diversity Fund (check or money orders only, no cash).
- There is no limit to the number of submissions a contestant can make; however, each submission must be made using a separate entry form and include a separate submission fee.
