2008 NASP National Championship

The date and location has been set for the 2008 NASP National Championship!

The event will be held at the Kentucky Exposition Center in Louisville, Kentucky (same location as 2007) Saturday, May 10th.

This year’s event will be held in the modern South A & B Halls.

The shooting line will be 810 feet long and have 160 lanes.

The South A & B Hall will provide higher ceilings and better lighting for the 2008 event.

Tournament capacity will be 1,920 archers (there were 1,577 in 2007).

There will be 3 flights 9:00 am, 12:00 pm, and 3:00 pm. Awards ceremony to take place around 7:00 pm

Registrations will most likely be in two parts, with the first window beginning around April 1st. The first registration window will be for registration of the top 2 or 3 teams from each Division in each State and any slots not taken by a certain date will then be open to other qualifying teams. This is to allow every state the opportunity to participate.

Minimum qualifying scores have not been established as of this date.

More detailed information will be provided following our State Tournament February 29, 2008.

The Ohio NASP State Tournament will be held at Veteran’s Memorial North Hall in Columbus, Ohio.

Registrations for the Ohio NASP State Tournament will open November 5th and close on December 21st

We are anticipating 700 – 900 students at this year’s event.
