The majority of the park is partially-shaded, mowed-grass green space. This expansive area is home to an 18-hole disc golf course. On the park’s north, benches overlooking Lake Erie line the top of gently graded, partially mowed-grass, partially-vegetated, bluff. Wooden steps lead down the middle of the bluff to more than 1,100 feet of coastal access. This beach is divided by a large groin and fishing pier near the eastern end. The 900-foot west beach area averages 120 feet wide. The foot-friendly sand at the back of the beach is mixed with small stones and shell fragments closer to the water. Three offshore breakwaters provide shore protection. Per city regulation, swimming and other forms of water contact are not permitted at Euclid’s public beaches. The shore access east of the pier averages less than 30-feet wide. The upper park area here is heavily shaded. Trails, some asphalt paved and some compacted gravel, weave throughout the park connecting various amenities including the beach, parking lots and playground. Additional amenities include a picnic pavilion and tables and the Albert W. Henn Mansion, which is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
