- 		Occupying 116 acres of partially shaded land east of the Huntington Reservation, west of Dover Center Road and north of Wolf Road, the city of Bay Village’s Cahoon Memorial Park has nearly 2,300 feet of coastal access.

The portion of Cahoon Memorial Park north of U.S. Route 6 (Lake Road) is divided by the Cahoon Creek into two access points. For safety purposes (at both access areas), a chain-link fence runs along the top of the bluff which is experiencing varying degrees of erosion. Benches and picnic tables allow for scenic Lake Erie views.

The parking lot for the 13.7-acre west (“Cahoon”) access is north of Lake Road about 450 feet west the Cahoon Road intersection. A half-mile paved asphalt exercise trail circles this parcel. No bicycles or skateboards are allowed on the trail.

Cahoon Memorial Park’s east (“Dover”) access is at the north terminus of Bryson Lane. The 6.7-acre parcel is home to the Bay Boat Club’s two-lane, small-boat launch. Membership to the public club is open to any Bay Village boat-owning resident.

Most of Cahoon Park’s amenities are located in the non-coastal section south of Lake Road. The park is open 5 am to 11 pm daily, but closed Sundays.		 Location Map:
