Location: North Marginal Road and East 55th Street Cleveland, OH Latitude: N 41° 32.05’ Longitude: W 081° 38.87’ Waterbody: Lake Erie Access Site Type: Recreational Environments: Manmade Shore	The 20.2-acre East 55th Street Marina is one of six sites in the Cleveland Lakefront State Park system. The marina is on North Marginal Road near the north end of East 55th Street, about 2.25 miles east of Burke Lakefront Airport’s entrance. Inside a sizable manmade harbor, the marina has 335 seasonal rental docks with water and electric hookups. A marina concession facility is in the southeast corner of the park. Expansive connected parking areas line the property’s east and south sides. Mowed grass areas surround each lot. Restroom facilities, picnic areas and a playground are found in these open spaces. Fishing is allowed throughout the park which touches the open waters of Lake Erie and the protected marina area. The north side of East 55th Street Marina is protected by a 0.42-mile bulkhead pier. The majority of the north pier has an unpaved dirt trail running its length; deciduous trees also grow sporadically atop. The eastern portion of the pier along with the bulkhead protecting the park’s east side is un-shaded, handicap-accessible paved concrete. Down a step, the capped-concrete bulkhead continues nearly 800 feet parallel to the north of the Cleveland Memorial Shoreway (State Route 2 and U.S. Route 90). The Cleveland Lakefront Bikeway passes though the south of the park, directly connecting it to Gordon Park, a coastal access site to the east.
